“We have always wanted to learn more about the Uros people and their way of life on Lake Titicaca. Sadly, we were a bit disappointed to be taken into their homes and then pressured to buy crafts. I understand that tourism is an important source of income, but it was so uncomfortable. Otherwise, our guide was really knowledgeable and we loved Taquille Island. Lunch was incredible and it was nice to experience a much more authentic and pressure-free environment. Be prepared for lots of time on a boat as well. PS Puno is awesome!
